By activating the plane icon on your map, you’ll unlock a range of aviation-specific layers and data tools. These features support dispatchers, pilots, ground operations, and meteorological teams in optimizing safety and efficiency.

Tomorrow.io provides METAR and TAF data in several locations:
- Click on any airport icon to view the latest METAR and TAF reports directly in the map.
- Use METAR/TAF as a parameter in Trends to track changes at your key airports.
- Create Insights based on METAR or TAF to trigger alerts based on observed or forecast airport conditions.
💡 We recommend combining Tomorrow.io forecast data with METAR/TAF conditions in the same Insight. This ensures alerts are triggered by the most sensitive available source and include a message detailing which source initiated the Insight.
