Getting Started with Airport Overview Reports

Creating the Report

  • Report Title: Name your report (e.g., Airport Overview). The title is fully customizable.

  • Airport Selection: Choose the airports you'd like to include in your report overview.

Adding Weather Summaries

Add a textual summary for each airport. This highlights key metrics such as:

  • Visibility

  • Cloud ceiling

  • Precipitation intensity

To focus on a specific airport with significant impact, you can insert a detailed table for that location. You can customize the duration and weather parameters such as snow accumulation to get a full snapshot.

Utilizing Widgets for Analysis

  • Weather Impact Table
Summarizes multiple airports and automatically highlights the top five most impacted.

  • Airport’s Winter Daily
Displays wind speeds and precipitation timing throughout the day for selected airports.

  • Trend Lines
Add hourly and cumulative trend visualizations for parameters like snow accumulation, precipitation, or visibility.

Applying Gale Summary

For any tables you add, you can optionally apply a Gale summary for a quick, AI-generated narrative focusing on the most critical areas across your network.

Automating and Sharing Your Report

Saving and Scheduling

Once your report template is finalized:

  • Save the template

  • Set up scheduled delivery (e.g., once or multiple times per day)

  • Reports will be updated with current data at each scheduled run

You can also edit the report after receiving it to add operational notes or additional context.

Sharing Options

  • Internal Sharing: Share directly with users in your Tomorrow.io account.

  • External Sharing: Generate a public link to send to third-party vendors or external stakeholders.
