When to Use Lightning Probability
Use Lightning Probability when your operational decision is specifically driven by the likelihood of lightning.
If your operation is affected by thunderstorms more broadly, including other potential convective hazards, use Thunderstorm Probability instead.
For an additional short-term view of lightning risk over the next 60 minutes, use Lightning Nowcast.
