Alert Timing & Scheduling allows you to control when alerts are triggered and delivered, helping align notifications with your operational workflows.

This ensures teams are informed at the right time-whether preparing in advance or responding in real time.

Alert Timing Configuration

Alerts can be configured to trigger at different stages of an event:

  • Before event start – e.g., 15 min, 30 min, 1 hr, 2 hrs, 6 hrs, 12 hrs, 1.5 days, 2 days
  • At event start
  • After event ends

This flexibility allows teams to prepare ahead of time and respond during and after events.

Organization Alert Schedule

Organizations can define a centralized alert schedule to control when standard alerts are delivered.

This helps ensure alerts are sent only during relevant working hours.

  • Applies to standard alerts
  • Configured at the organization level

Critical alerts bypass the schedule and are always delivered.

When to Use Timing & Scheduling

This feature is useful for:

  • Aligning alerts with operational shifts or working hours
  • Reducing unnecessary notifications outside business hours
  • Ensuring early warnings for high-impact weather events
