Grouped Alerts allow you to consolidate notifications across multiple locations by grouping them based on shared tags.
Instead of receiving separate alerts for each location, you receive a single alert per group—reducing notification volume and improving clarity.
How It Works
- Enable Grouped Alerts by tag during alert configuration:
- Alerts are grouped based on the selected location tag
- A single notification is sent for the entire group instead of per location:
Alert Behavior
- Start notifications are triggered when the first location in the group is affected
- Start time updates are sent only when the first affected location is updated
- Cancel notifications are sent when events for all locations in the group are canceled
- All-clear notifications are sent when all locations in the group are no longer affected
- Notifications reference the group rather than individual locations
When to Use Grouped Alerts
Grouped Alerts are useful when monitoring multiple locations that share operational context, such as:
- Regional sites or facilities
- Fleet locations grouped by region
- Operational zones or territories
This helps reduce alert noise while maintaining awareness of relevant impacts.
