Map-Based Analysis

View Gale Answers on the Map

When Gale’s response references specific locations, weather conditions, or assets, it can automatically open a corresponding map view. This map will include:

  • Relevant weather layers and overlays
  • Active locations and assets
  • Contextual information in the side panel

Explain the Map with Gale

Use Gale’s "Explain the Map" feature to quickly understand the visual data you’re seeing:

  1. Navigate to the Map view and set your desired layers, time range, and locations.
  2. Open Gale and select "Analyze Map View."
  3. Gale will interpret your current view and return a concise, plain-language summary.

This is ideal for:

  • Quickly onboarding new users
  • Identifying key operational risks
  • Simplifying complex meteorological visualizations

Each explanation is informed by what’s currently visible on the map and optimized for decision-making.
