The Weather Reports feature enables you to create, customize, and distribute weather reports across your organization. Designed for operational and communication use cases, reports can include forecasts, alerts, maps, summaries, and more.

Capabilities Overview
Weather Reports support:
Daily automated reports sent to internal or external recipients
Event-specific reporting for operational decision-making during critical weather events
Stakeholder communication through shareable links or emailed PDFs
Custom formatting using widgets, maps, and optional AI-powered summaries (Gale)
Report Creation
Reports are created by account admins using a drag-and-drop interface of pre-configured widgets, maps, and text blocks.
Available Widgets
Daily Forecast
Provides daily conditions for a single location. To display multiple locations, add multiple widgets.Weather Table
Select from templates showing daily or hourly data. Customize parameters and highlight key thresholds like wind or humidity.Trends and Charts
Visualize trends in temperature, precipitation, wind speed, or gusts.Hard Coded Text
Add static notes such as daily instructions or operational context.Formatting & Images
Use bolding, highlights, bullet lists, and inline images.
Note: Hard coded text and images are not dynamic and won't update automatically.
AI Summaries (Gale*)
Textual Summary
Auto-generates a plain-language weather overview across up to 75 locations, with the 5 most impacted featured at the top.Table Summary
Produces AI-written summaries of your selected weather table.

Probability Mode in Trends Widget
If you are using NextGen™, you can enable probability mode in the Trends widget to include probabilistic forecasts in your reports.
This allows you to share not only expected conditions, but also the likelihood of different outcomes, improving external communication and decision-making.
How to use
1. Add a Trends and Charts widget to your report
2. Select a supported parameter (e.g., temperature, wind, precipitation)
3. Toggle Probability mode:

Notes
Probability mode is available for NextGen™ customers only.
Only one parameter can be displayed at a time in probability mode.
If a parameter does not support probability, the option will not appear.
Map Capture Widget
This widget allows for dynamic weather map snapshots.
Automatic Map Generation for a selected forecast time
Grid Selection of up to 6 locations per image
Layer Customization (up to 15 layers per map)
Value Filtering for thresholds (e.g. wind > 20mph)
Tile Color Editing
Legend On/Off Toggle
Template Library to reuse map styles
Supported Layers include most weather options
Satellite clouds, global radar, and surface fronts are not supported in map reports.
To ensure accurate map data, align the map capture start time with the report’s forecast period.
Report Sharing
Reports can be shared in multiple ways:
Copy Link to manually share a view-only report
Email recipients with an optional message
Public Access via a shareable link (no login required)
Private Distribution limited to users in your account
Export to PDF for offline use or attachments
You can also attach PDFs to automated report emails.
When selecting “My Account Only,” recipients must log into the Tomorrow.io platform to view the report.
Report Automation
Reports can be scheduled to generate and send automatically.
Set frequency and time for daily or weekly delivery
Use templates to update content and layout without starting from scratch
The report’s scheduled time is separate from the map capture time. Aligning both improves forecast accuracy.
⚠️ Privacy Restrictions:
- Only account admins can create automated reports
- Reports can only be sent to users on the account
- Users must be logged in to view the report
