Organize Smarter: Tagging Locations and Insights

Tagging is a flexible and powerful way to organize data within the Tomorrow.io platform. By applying meaningful tags to your locations and insights, you can streamline workflows, improve searchability, and build custom Views tailored to your operational needs.


Why Use Tags?

Tags help you:

  • Group locations and insights by teams, regions, or use cases

  • Filter and organize data quickly for easier navigation

  • Build custom Views that match your workflow


Tagging Locations

To tag a location:

  1. Navigate to the Locations tab

  2. Select the location you want to tag

  3. Click the Tag option and enter your desired tag(s)

  4. Save your changes — the tag is now applied

Tagging Insights

To tag an insight:

  1. Navigate to the Insights tab

  2. Select the insight you wish to tag

  3. Click the Tag option and enter your tag(s)

  4. Save your changes — the insight is now grouped accordingly

Using Tags for Views and Filtering

Tags are especially useful when building custom Views or filtering large datasets.

  • Create filtered Views that display only specific groups of locations or insights

  • Improve team collaboration by standardizing tag usage across departments

⚠️ Only Admin users can invite, remove, or modify other users and their roles.
