How to Use the Lightning Nowcast Layer
- Open the map in the Tomorrow.io platform
- Select the Lightning icon in the map layer panel
- Enable the Lightning Nowcast toggle
- Use the timeline slider to view forecasted lightning probability up to 1 hour ahead
If desired, set up Insight Rules using lightning probability thresholds to trigger operational alerts.
