What are location tags?

A location tag is an additional filtering mechanism used to observe a set of locations. You can add unique tags to each location saved in the platform, or you can use the same tag for multiple locations. There is no limit to the number of tags per location.

An example of a location tag would be a zip code. You may have 2 locations saved, one named “Location A” and the other “Location B”. However, both locations may be within the 70118 zip code. By adding the '70118' as a location tag for both, you can then filter your timeline and insight dashboard views to only display locations with the tags enabled, rather than individually looking up each individual location.
