Using Browser Translation to View Tomorrow.io in Other Languages

Tomorrow.io supports English as the default language across its platform. If you or your team members prefer to work in a different language, you can use browser-based translation tools - such as Google Chrome’s built-in translator - as a workaround.

When to Use

Browser translation can improve accessibility for users who are more comfortable operating in a language other than English. This approach is commonly used by teams in multilingual environments or regions without native-language support.

How to Use Chrome’s Translation Feature

To enable translation in Google Chrome:

1. Open the Tomorrow.io platform in your Chrome browser.

2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Translate to [Your Language].

3. If prompted, confirm your preferred language in the toolbar that appears at the top of the screen:

4. Chrome will attempt to translate the page content automatically.

Tip: If the translation bar doesn’t appear, click the Translate icon in the address bar to enable it manually.

Known Limitations

Browser translation is not officially supported by Tomorrow.io and may not function correctly in all areas of the platform.

Known issues include:

  • Incomplete translation of dashboard components, modals, or configuration panels

  • Errors in dynamic or interactive content, such as timelines and trend views

For critical use cases like alert configuration or forecast interpretation, we recommend reviewing the content in English when possible to ensure accuracy.
