What are insight tags?

An insight tag is an additional filtering mechanism used to observe a set of insights. You can add unique tags to each insight saved in the platform, or you can use the same tag for multiple insights. There is no limit to the number of tags per insight.

An example of an insight tag could be the parameter used in the insight rule. For example, you may have 4 insights for precipitation; however, each insight varies based on its severity level. One insight may be named “Heavy Rain” and the other “Moderate Rain”. By adding a 'rain' tag to the insight, you can then filter your timeline and insight dashboard views to only display insights with the tags enabled, rather than individually looking up each individual insight.
